Founder's Story
George and Louise Eusterman were early pioneers
in EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) for electronic monthly dues
in the health club industry in Washington State in the mid 80's.
The Eusterman's owned Riverside Health Club in Mount Vernon from
1971 to 2000. New Christians in the early 80's with a vision for
preventive health, the Eusterman's expanded the club from 500 to
4000 members, including a chaplain program which continues today.

When friends in ministries repeatedly came home
from far-off lands to re-raise funds, a seed was planted in 1995
to one day help those "called to stay and pray and pay" be more
faithful to those "called to go." Electronic monthly giving
provides a valuable tool for Kingdom growth.
Properly managed EFT had become the greatest economic
stabilizer to the fitness industry with a clientele struggling with
behavior modification issues. Not only did it stabilize and grow
revenues for the industry but provided convenience and stable
relationships for the consumer and fostered a boom in fitness
center use that continues to this day. Non-use previously broke
relationship with the member and became a detriment to re-establishing
regular exercise. EFT kept the relationship during "off" times which
motivated and shorted the non-use cycle for the member. It became an
excellent tool for exercise adherence. It also removed the "curse" of
having to chase after slow payers each month (or in the ministries case,
suffer lost revenue from non-payers!)
Christian ministry and charity offerings, which are
based on relationships, is similar in that while a giver's intentions
are good (like exercise), the commitment sometimes gets broken and the
relationship suffers (as does the revenue to the organization). Additionally
there are those not giving now who would commit if an E-tithing / E-giving
program was offered, even in small amounts, which add up.
We were successful in establishing 80% of our members
in the club as EFT customers. We learned the "ins and outs" of EFT
(including a combination of $100K in mistakes). We want to pass on
our knowledge and passion for Kingdom funding to be used for your success.
Our vision now is to establish EFT for God's purposes.
His church is a little slow adopting new method, but many large Christian
ministries are investigating and launching EFT electronic tithing and
automatic giving programs as you read this. We are responding to a calling
to provide the finest electronic donation programs available and we
encourage you to take this seriously. The effects of EFT for doing
good will be phenomenal. Not just the stabilizing factor but access
to a whole new giver base of revenue.
In His service,
George and Louise Eusterman |
