Integration & Strategies

We are going to connect you with the best of American processing, at a special discount. However, tools without knowledge, understanding and strategy are a waste of money and time. Most electronic giving has not been very successful, mainly because it focused on the giver. Success depends on how you think about it. We believe these tools should be used to maximize stewardship and impact the Kingdom, not just providing a convenience for givers who are already mature and faithful.

We bring twenty years of electronic payment experience, business and ministry work combined to assist each client with basic yet unique integration plans and strategies to reach the less consistent givers (who are in the great majority) and by default, develop a level of faithfulness comparable to the most disciplined.

You may need a board conference call to orient the board and get agreement. You will probably need our forms, designed to be effective in procuring recurring giving authorizations. You may need help with appeals, reviewing texts for appeal letters and newsletters. You may need our secure online giving system to facilitate effective single and recurring giving for your website. You may want some help in developing an overall funding strategy. We would love to help you; it is our purpose for being here and there is no charge.

There is a charge to actually process the funds from a giverÕs bank to your ministry account. There is no escaping that and I would hate to imagine just how secure and reliable ÒfreeÓ processing might be! The processor we recommend (CheckFree) is the best it gets for trusting GodÕs funding to and because we have a unique contract with them to serve only Kingdom work, we have a significant discount for you and it is shared with us by CheckFree. Our income is invested directly back into the Kingdom to cover expenses and develop new tools. Since 2001 (now 2007) there has not even been a payroll for Egiving Systems. All staff are volunteers. IT development is another story!

It is important to have your leadership team understand the value of Egiving to the mission and to be coordinated on integration even though development staff may carry the primary vision to fruit. Smaller organizations profit from consensus because all are involved in development. We are glad to participate in helping develop this consensus. Our goal is to help you move Egiving to be the preferred, if not the only, monthly giving program.

Most Egiving authorizations come to a ministry/org on paper or by phone/fax unless the ministry is a highly visible in which case our online donation tools will be helpful. We will provide the forms, text and tools you need.

Other strategies for funding may involve campaigns in which Egiving is a component of the overall goal. Or, it may involve grants, foundations, financing, asset transfers, life insurance payouts or wills and estates. If we are not equipped with a quality vehicle we can refer you to one. We have only One reason to be here.
